If you simply take a look through your window you know what I mean.
Today felt like a sad, lazy and especially nasty day.
The nasty is because for the rain of course. It makes your hair do crazy things, you feel cold and sticky, everything stays wet and every bus that passes you by has steamy windows.
This is a typical day to stay inside with a feelgood movie and just do nothing else, unfortunately most of us had to go to school, work or in my case, to internship.

But then again, here I am with the Noes-News update!

Harrie is hiding!
In my last message I told you about our new pet, the hedge-hog.
My dad baptised him(or her) to Harrie! I think it's a pretty good name for our hedgie.
We found out a few of it's hobbies!
One of Harrie's biggest hobbies is sunbathing, in the following picture you see Harrie relaxing in the lovely sunshine a few days ago.
After a lazy daydream Harrie also likes sports, in the second picture you see him in action, jog around the clock!







As you can see Harrie is one busy hedge-hog!
Unfortunately we have not seen him for a few days but we hope it's because of the weather. Come home Harrie!

I have friends all around the world!
Yes I really do!
I thought this was a good opportunity to tell you about some of my friends that are taking a big step, a really big one.
The first friend is Andrea, also known to me as Andy.
I know Andy from school but she is not from Holland, but from Germany!
After setteling down in the lovely city Breda she went back to Germany for her internship. And not somewhere in Germany where she is from, but Munchen! Sorry for the grammar but I can't find the U with dots.

Another friend that left this frogcountry for her internship is Sharon!
She is a real Dutchy but decided to spend the twenty weeks as an intern in England!

Last but not least, our Sillie!
This is not a matter of internship but going to college in the USA for a whole year!
She is living in Ferndale in the state Washinton.

I hope you girls have a great time and keep me up to date with all the hot gossip!
I really admire what you are doing although I miss you!
Someday I wish to do the same thing, or maybe I'll visit you very soon!
I'd still like to go to New York, England again and Australia someday.
Where is my piggy bank again?!

I survived my first day of filming!
Last thursday we filmed the first 3 episodes of Weekend met Marielle!
Yes 3 whole shows on one day. It was busy, I was a bit nervous and then it all worked out just fine!
Let me tell you a bit about a few guests we had that day:
We had Marjolijn from the cute store Babs + Milo, she brought Babs, Boef and Sas for a fabulous dog fashionshow!
The dogs were just to cute, I almost kidnapped Sas, and they did their thing on the catwalk for sure!

Maik de Boer stopped by to tell us more about his clothing line for women who are a little bigger than some of us, he showed us they can look great and sexy too!

Another guest was Marion who cooks biologic-vegetarian, this all in the animal day spirit! She made several dishes for us to show how tasty it can be to cook with a little more thought.

We also had Mireille and Jacques from the shoeboutique Shoeks as guests and they gave us a show with new trends for the fall and winter.
When I was explaining a few things to them we found out they even sold my new boots! Just not to me because I already had them of course, but still they sell them too.
And here they are! Aren't they lovely? (you should sing that)Aren't they wonderful? Lalala











Now I am in the fasion spirit anyway My Gossip Girl t-shirt arrived!
A small package with "Fred Flare loves you" arrived at our home today.
Inside I found my awesome t-shirt with Chuck on it!

I turned 19!
Not that I really wanted to, because now I am slowly moving to 20 and then you never get out of the 'ty' again. twenTY, twenTYone, twenTYtwo.. you get where I am going?

We have a pet again!
After our very sweet rabbit we didn't have a real animal anymore, but now we do!
Not just some animal, it's hedge hog! In Dutch we called it 'een egel'.
Now you probably think I am going mentally ill but I did not buy it somewhere on the internet or went to the forrest to catch it. It moved in to our garden itself.
It's really cute! But I haven't named it yet.

Big news from one of my favorite artists!
Singer/songwriter James Morrison is a daddy!
He and his girlfriend Gill have a beautifull baby girl, her name is not made public yet. Actually I do not agree with this at all because James was supposed to be mine one day! But still, it's pretty cute and I think James will be a good daddy too, so Congrats James!

He also has a new single again, the song is called 'You make it real'. It's a typical James song and of course I love it, and this is only a small piece of the new album that is coming out!

From August 16th on I am an intern at TV station Brabant 10!
This is already my sixth week and I can say, I think I am really doing a good job.
This thursday, September 25th we are filming the first 3 episodes of Weekend met Marielle already and I arranged a great deal out of it.
These episodes contain fashion shows in terms of dogfashion, shoes and accessories, a young singer who arranges a benefit concert for charity, a modelling contest and much more.

So wacht the first episode of Weekend met Marielle at the 3th of October on Brabant 10!

We also filmed a tournament of poker with famous people from Brabant. They battled each other with poker to win 20.000 euro for charity! I am not going to tell you who won yet but I can tell you it was exciting!
A few of our players were the singer of the cover band Big Shampoo & the Hairstylers, Do, Frank Lammers, Grad Damen, sports writer Chris van Nijnatten, Sven from restaurant Coquille and Mari van de Ven.

The Brabant VIP series of poker are on Brabant 10 every friday from the 2nd of October to Christmas eve on.

Gossip Girl season two has started!
I am happy Serena, Blair, Chuck, Nate, Jenny and Dan are back because god I missed them! At this very moment my sweet laptop is downloading episode 4 already so if this is the first thing you hear about it, this is what you should do:
- find the program Bitlord on google and download it for free
- when you have managed to do this, go you!
- go to the website www.eztv.it
- find the button saying 'showlist' at the top
- try not to click all the other great shows you see in the list
- find gossip girl and start downloading those episodes!

My lovely friend Esther showed me an awesome shirt op the website of fred flare and I was in love right away. The shirt is from Gossip Girl, what else, and you can order it in 4 different designs.

My favorite character, I love him!, is Chuck. So because of the very sweet friend of my sister, Evelien, my shirt is ordered and on his way to Holland very soon.

It could be dangerous living in this valley!

It's been a while, but Noes is back!

What happened in the time in between?
- Busy, busy, busy with school. But if everything goes according to scedule that period will be over soon:)
- I created a huge addiction (yes, even more) to the band Paramore, I will see them again the 17th of June!
- I've been to the concert of Tegan and Sara
- The whole trip to America is planned
- The trip to London too
I know it's a bad excuse but I am really blaming school on not blogging ;)

Still a few weeks of school to go, but on the 16th of May this Noes will fly away to the USA!
We will stay on the campus of the NAU in Flaggstaff, Arizona to do a project. In the weekend we will visit Las Vegas which is awesome of course, but the thing is I am not 21. So I can not even gamble! But I'll just try to sneak in somewhere, cannot miss a chance like that.
When the rest of our group of school is going home again I will go to San Diego, Tijuana and Los Angeles with a few friends.
Because I have to do one stupid re-exam I have to go home earlier than hoped, so I will fly back on the 15th of June.

But actually this re-exam kinda saved me, because just a week or so ago I found out Paramore is coming back to Holland, but this is already on the 17th of June!
I still managed to get some tickets for myself and two of my friends but getting them meant waking up way to early on your saturday off, and that's really special when you work in the supermarket.
But after stressing out a bit and calling the computer some names, I got tickets!
At that moment the words chirpy and even hyperactive were on their place. Me, my jetlag and friends will be there!

Talking about music now, I've also been to the concert of Tegan and Sara on the 20th of March! I did not know them very well actually but one of my friends really wanted to see them so I went with her. They're live performance is great and they even played the song I know!

Last week I saw the videoclip for the first time, and their drummer is sooo goodlooking so I waited for the moment he got a close-up, and guess what?! it was a whole other man!

So I was like; did he take an extreme make-over? he was way hotter before!

So with the help of the internet I searched for a reasonable explanation, and my fav. maroon5 member left the band! like WHAT?

Yes he left the band. Why? well I found out it he did not just left like: hey you guys, I kinda don't like playing music with you anymore so I'm quitting ok? see ya later!

No! Maroon5 did a lot of tours the past time and because of that Ryan's injuries became worse, or came back everythime until the moment he couldn't play anymore!

But I read he still is involved with Maroon5, he helped with the songwriting for the new album so we don't have to miss him completely!

Tonight is one of the last Grey's Anatomies of this season, and I'm telling you it's going to be a hell of an episode! I know that because I peaked on the american website and saw a videoclip called 'The Story' and that videoclip + song contained pieces of episodes and I already saw to much!

I went out friday night and at the end of the evening it got boring, everyone left so my sister got our coats and we left. On our way to the car I saw some differences between my coat and the one I had; a little thing on the zipper was missing and the collars of my sleeves(if you call it that way?) where a little more broad and is was just messy! For the rest the exact same colour, brand, size and so one. So some stupid drunk girl took my coat home instead of hers! Not a complete disaster but I always take very good care of my stuff and my coat was very neat and stuff, and now someone else has it! Very annoying! I want mine back!

The most awesome concert ever!

Hey you guys!

as promised, here is a more detailed version of the concert!

although I took a while to get all the pictures and little movies etc.

Well how it all began;

Me and Jorien arrived at the trainstation that was the nearest one to the Heiniken Music Hall, well ns.nl said it was, but we ourselves think it wasn't!

so we had to walk a few minutes to get to the HMH but then, which way to go?

we saw three possible options: dark & nothing, dark & nothing and dark with a bus. So we decided to ask the busdriver but when we where almost there, it drove away!

so then we had to choose between the two dark & nothings.

We saw a few people walk the left one, so we followed them!

It was almost a 'avond vierdaagse' because they kept on walking and walking and suddenly we weren't so sure we were going the right way, while a few girls were following us. They thought we knew the way.

After a while we did arrive at the HMH but we think we could go there way easier: just leave the train one trainstation earlier.

But hey! we were there!

Finally inside the building we walked a lot of stairs to drop our coats and then we were curious about the support act, that already left! tsss what a loser!

So the only option left was to find ourselves a good spot in the crowd and wait for our lovely James to arrive!

He was a little late, but he's a star... so probably he thought he was fashionable late..

I can tell you, the walking an waiting was all worth it!

His voice, the band and everything around it was more then we could ever expect!

and James was hot!..his legs were a little skinny but what a man!*sings the rest of the song*

He told us he thought we weren't lazy, because we ride bikes.

We were the biggest crowd he ever performed for! and...*drum ruffle*

we were a hell of a sexy crowd! and above all:

fucking awesome!

So you hear (well...read) he thought the same about the concert as we did.

Busy Bee

hey everyone!

it took a while to come up with some new things that might interest you, but they're finally here!
I'm just being a busy bee for the past time because right now I'm in my studyweek, this means I have lovely exams next week! how delightfull..
after that I'll have a nice week of re-exams which I love even more, in a non-serious and loving way ofcourse.

While making my Business Communication assignment I gave the greatest clothing store ever, the H&M ofcourse, a new clothing line for our fellow-citizens around the age of 65+
I took the television Big Brother onto another level, I hate that show so much, that's why I kind of called all the features in the program 'a problem'. (note: we had to find some problems and solve them to gain viewers)
So in my world Big Brother sucks a little bit less.
And finally for the Exam grade we get to do this for the Eurovision Song Contest(Festival for you guys) too.
Of course I improved this show into perfection, nobody even dares to not watch it anymore. Artists that already where big before the ESC will be ruled..no actually kicked out of the pre-selections to give the real talents of every country a better shot, because we don't want the political kind of voting: I like you, and although your song sucks I give the all the credits.
Na-ah, this is not what the Eurovision exists for. So me, as the new NHTV Imagineer will tell the managers what their shows are really made of...
And ofcourse that is all the crap they earn money with, they actually don't care what they broadcast as long as they can drive their Jaguars, swim in their amoeba-shaped swiming pools and are able to invite the playmates into their 10 million dollor mansions.
Well what an exiting life!

Besides all the lovely homework I'm getting ready for the greatest concert ever, the one I already told you about like 20 times, but I don't care because it's JAMES!
we love james! we love james! (instead of "we want more!", I don't know that yet;))

Another very exiting thing I have to tell you is about the summerbreak!
My friend esther is going on a holiday somewhere near Barcelona and she's taking me with here! Can you see us walking already?
I sure know I do, walking around the malls of Barcelona, getting taned under the Spanish sun, stealing the nice guys from doll-faced fellow-campers (yes we will be on a campingplace and doll-faced girls are just very annoying, soooo fake!)
but ofcourse also visiting the great art of Gaudi, taking tours around nature and even wash some dishes and our own clothes of course, can you imagine now? ofcourse you can..
a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do!

And then again the Tef-awards came around!
my group got through the pre-selections but unfortunately we didn't win in the end. Some ideas, presenters..or even songs are just that little extra that the teachers find important.
Ofcourse we don't, everyone knows we were the actual winners, but hey you can't have everything!
The night did end in a very fun way, because the organisation hired a band to perform during the after party. And the best part of that was that the drummer of the band was my classmate during all my 5 years on highschool! So now I'm the first official groupie, I screamed my lungs out and left as the last person.
You can't disagree with me this makes the not winning-part up!
So thank you Bartje & the rest of Marvin for you performance and company, you did a great job and it was fun!

For now I have to do a lot of re-styling, cleaning and tidying up my room, it's such a mess I just can not find anything.
so..does anyone have a bulldozer available?

Away from the sun..

Yep, because it's typical winter weather, so actually the sun is more away from us.. but whatever, you get the clue don't you?

So what have you been up to these two weeks of winterbreak? I already know a few things, but that can't be all! Leo (of should I say Bob?) bought a lot of dvd's and I must say I am a little jealous. Essepoester is painting here room at this moment and Mie came back from Idaho.
Well I just have to wait a few more days until it's school again and we hear all the stories, in the meantime I will tell you what I've been doing.

The very first two days of the break I went to see my grandparents and I had christmas diners etc. you know how that goes with the holidays. Later on I went to Nijmegen with my sister, because she has a room there but I didn't see it yet, we did some serious shopping over there too.
I also had to help a friend of mine out with cooking, well actually not me, I'll confess, but my mom because I can't cook either. But still after my moms detailed description of the recipe, he failed! Let's hope he will succeed the next time, because you will all understand it's kind of disapointing to my mom, so pino just so you know, try harder next time!
On Friday my dear friend Esther stopped by, and we watched the movie 'Lord of Dogtown', O heaven! we searched on the internet for the real Stacy Peralta, Tony Alva and last but certainly not least Jay Adams. And those directors of the movie really did they're job, I can tell you, those actors look almost exactly like the real people in their youth.

But besides having fun you have to work ofcourse, else you couldn't have the fun of shopping, renting movies etc. so the few days after I worked a little extra and then it was already 2007!

Ofcourse this should be celibrated with some shopping and hanging around with friends, so we had a little mini-meeting with Debs, Krisch, Essepoester, Mayow and me. I bougt 'Failure to Launch' and got a lot of magazines with James on and in it from the lady behind the counter, thank you miss! I will make wallpaper out of it;)

For some more serious shopping I went to Antwerp, from wednesday on it was what they call 'solden' and translated into my language that means: AMAZING DISCOUNT!
So me, my sisters Anouk and Esther and Paulien and Chris got over there to see which nice things were left there for us. Well believe it or not, I didn't buy a thing from the discount! I don't understand myself either, why I didn't but I did buy something I wanted for sooo long.
my yellow heels! they look like Louboutins a lot, but mine are not shiny, but just leather and they're more ochre-yellow. I love them!

Suddenly I realise there's only a month left before I go to see (ruffle of drums) JAMES!
I already know all lines from the songs, and of the songs he didn't write but he does sing, so that's going to be a piece of cake. Me and Jorien will get his attention;)

While having the break I also had some free time to surf the internet for a few things I didn't have the time for. Like an amazing dancer called Sofia Boutella.

All I want for christmas...

in a few days it's the christmas holiday, and of course after christmas there is new years eve, and after that there is the james concert and afther that there is carnaval and after that... yeah you get the point, right?

So what are all you guys doing during this upcoming holidays?
I bet you all planned a lot of fun things, of course party a lot! that's were the holidays are (partly) for don't you agree? and during the mornings and afternoons you eat all nice christmas things, anyway I know I can't resist it!
But also some of us are doing something more interesting, fun or adventurous,
Mireille is going back to the US to see her other family for christmas!

For my dear friend Essepoester it won't be long before here own exposition will be up already, I'm so proud of you :D

So what I'm I doing myself this holiday?
Well not as special things as the girls who took the lead in this piece, but I sure am doing some fun things.
Of course my plan is to party on the second night of christmas and new years eve!
Apart from that, I will be able to see some of my friends who don't live very near to me again! so we will arange a mini-meeting, do some shopping with my best friend, a reunion with my last class from highschool and of course visiting the James Morrison concert with Jorien!

Well I don't have anything interesting to say further, so I'll just keep it this way..

This morning I woke up very early without using my alarm, why?
This morning the tickets for James Morrison in the HMH are for sale!
soo...what did I do?

Ofcourse, you can take your sleepingbag with you, and sleep in front of the postoffice door, and when it's time you just run as hard as you can, just to be first at the counter.
But this girl right here, has to work every saturday afternoon, so if I did that.. I would probably be late on work, and I guess my boss won't be too happy with that.
So I just couldn't do that, but I just have to have those tickets for me and Jorien, we just have to go!

So, option #2: Let someone else get the tickets for you.
Nah-ah won't work, Jorien herself had a cardriving-lesson sceduled, my sisters had to work in the morning, and my partens are also busy with preparing everything for this afternoon,
because it's my sisters birthday today!

so as I said; got op early, switched on the computer, found the website of ticketservice, logged in and refreshed the page again and again and again, and many more times until it was exactly 10 o'clock.
so I click the button: 'bestel' or in english 'order'
and do you know what it says? :O
"The internetsite is to busy at this moment, try again a couple minutes later"
do you know what I have to say to this?
NO! NOOO WAY! THOSE TICKETS BELONG TO ME!
so I got angry and sad at the same time, and just kept on clicking the button 'order', but still the same reaction!

did I wait this long for no tickets? so I ran upstairs, woke my dad to help me out and ran back downstairs to try again.
and just when my dad was downstairs to look for more options...it worked!
do you hear me? IT WORKED!!

but then still you have a line above the webpage that says: please finish your order within 3 minutes, or else your tickets will be given away
so I clicked everything as fast as I could..and it was within 3 minutes! the tickets are mine!
I have them here already because due my fast clicking I chose the orderoption: ticketfast
then you get an email with a document where your tickets are in, so you print them..and you have them at home already!

yeah that's a show of mtv, and how I'd wish they made it in holland also!
I guess everyone secretly has a sort of idol and it really wouldn't be that bad to have that person for your own, or someone who comes near to be it ofcourse..

me too! I want my own... hmm difficult question? yes it is, there are so much nice men in the bizz!
Like Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensen,Milo Ventimiglia, Matthew McConaughey, Steward Townsend, James Morrison...

They could make it for different area's of the netherlands every time because else your 'my own' could still live far far away, not very handy, right? ;)

Lifestyle of the fabs & the awesome

It all started yesterday evening...
me and my best friend started talking in english on msn, and as we talked on, we kept on doing that...we're kinda silly sometimes, don't mind us.
It sounded a little geeky so we realised we're not just that, but english talking awesome geeks!
Well while talking we made a sort of future story for ourselves...
Because my dear friend is going to be an amazing photographer, and I'm planning to be producer we will start our own company with producing, phtographics, musiclabels and so on
Me and my fabbie in crime, Louise will live in London(in the first place) and have a few vacation places like in hawaii, somewhere in the U.S. , like New York and ofcourse the lovely Brisbane in aussi.

All this just because we were in a silly mood and were trying to improve our english a little bit!
We would go international and build our fame, and ofcourse our company should have an apealing name! and because we are sooo fabulous & awesome, we decided to pick the name:

The fabulettes

All the great celebrity's want a recordlabel from us ofcourse and so we'll get to meet people like James Morrison, The Kooks, Lily Allen, The Donnas and The Veronicas are our best friends at that time!
James will not be able to resist me and the same thing will happen between Louise & Max Rafferty, we're just so amazing.. living in a complet lifestyle of the fabs & the awesome
And ofcourse we will meet our heroes from the movie, Lords of Dogtown... very nice skater/surferboys;)
no doubt they'll teach us who to become the best skater/surfer gals!
and we will be able to dance like hun (yeah yeah..I mean Honey ofcourse)

We and our company will be IT, the creme de la creme...the nose of the tuna! (no, not the salmon..the tuna!!)
All the guys who treated us bad will regret they're wasted changes.. because they'll see who we really are! come on!

that's what she said before she started singing 'knock em out' last friday night @ paradiso..
Lily was just awesome! The preformance just couldn't be better, except for her clothes. Secretly, deep in our harts we hoped to see our Lily in a dress with sneakers and much more goldish jewelery, the real Lily-look!
But her voice was sooo pure, I didn't hear one wrong tone in anything so gooo Lily!
She also went easy on the beer but she was smoking weed on stage... but well she's in A'dam, so what right..
She brought a group of 9 people with here on stage including background singers, trumpet, saxophone and so on, so you could say they did her best to impress us!
The introduction of all her song was also in a very Lily-ish way, like: 'this song I wrote for my gals(girls with accent) because I guess you all had trouble with you ex-boyfriend sometimes'.
And further before knock em out she used all signs to make clear what she meant, like grabbing her ass..in a guys way hehe.
Then she suddenly started performing a song completely unknown! so for now, limewire help me out!

I also saw like 3 or 4 people with camera's, for filming, not pictures, who were from paradiso or Lilys' crew so I'm just going to ask really nicely if it becomes a dvd and if it's possible for me to get it, that would be awesome, maybe I'll even see myself in the crowd!

But time flies when you're having fun, and so after a while it was already ending but maybe she comes back to Holland in a while so we'll see here then again! I'll be there..

The rest of the weekend we did a little shopping, well not that little hehe and watching sex & the city. I still don't have a new wintercoat because it seems the one I saw on the internet just wasn't in stores here. So that's a pitty, but I have the whole week of from school so enough shopping time left!

For now I going back celebrating the birthdays of my mom and dad and they're 25th wedding anniversary!

I'm so excited to go! Most of all, I'm really curious about her stage preformance, because youtube showt me one gig of her that wasn't that great, but let's hope for the best.. and that is that Lily isn't drunk this time so this is for you Lily, leave the beer alone!

But almost friday and there's still the question...what to wear?! I just have no idea, so I'll just take my closet with me to A'dam and decide what to wear when I arrived.(at a'dam, not the concert ofcourse)

Well 3 of the 4 examens are finished and over all, they went well:)
still some difficult things ofcourse but let's hope it compares with all the things I did do in the right way, so 3 down, 1 to go!

The James-addiction isn't over yet, so that will take a while...
the concert was sold out! that's a pitty, just hope he will come back to the netherlands really soon..and the veronicas too because of some reason I miss all the concerts they have around here

well enough wining for today, in a few days you will have the whole journal of comming weekend to read over here! Including pictures, so I can hope we can get the camera to the concert

well not really ofcourse;)
the title of this post today is just a little piece of my new addiction, james morrison!
you all know him from he song ' you give me something'
besides the fact he's kinda good looking.. his music is fantastic, awesome, sometimes cute lyrics and so on..
Within a day I allready downloaded the whole album, burned it on cd and listened to it until I got sick of it(which still didn't happen by the way;) )
whatever I do, I'm under the influence of youhou..

yeah sorry I'll quit doing that, It's a good thing though you can't hear me sing, that's worse.. trust me hehe

Had to give a presentation of a project again yesterday, was really nervous before because I saw the teachers in the front of the room and we were at the same time as another group, but then with one from another class, but it were nice people so that was a relieve!
the presentation went well, alltough we had some comment on the sposoring we used.. but it was our first project of this subject so we'll learn from that for the next time!

Right now I'm having a few days off from school, so we can all study for the exames that are comming next week, so fingers crossed but better is to just study real hard..
At the final exam day I have my co exam of narratolligy, which is the last exam already! after that I will jump on the train, (well you can't say it that way in english I guess, but you know what I mean right?) but the main point is.. That train will take me to amsterdam were I will see Lily Allen live! woooohoo, the day I after we will do a little shopping around Amsterdam to relax from my examens and esthers' tests, so that will be just amazing, almost can't wait!

So more on that after that weekend! I'll give you a complete overview of the concert and things I bought while shopping ofcourse.. so a little more patience please, it's not that long anymore!

Lalala..well I know it's a wonderful world, but I can't feel it right now, I thought that I was doing well but just wanna cry now, well I know that it's a wonderful world from the sky to the sea, but I can only see it when you're here, here with me..
