Pop pop!

I've been looking for some new books last week and today I put the recipe of one to the test.
Cake pops by Angie Dudly/Bakerella contains over 40 recipes to make the cutest mini cakes you have ever seen.


Since I am all about cupcakes I started my cake pop conquest with: cupcake pops.

I used regular vanilla cake an vanilla buttercream as a safe start. The melts are milk chocolate from the candy store and Wilton's pink candy melts.
Some of the pops look a little better than others eventually but as a cake pop rookie I think I did pretty well.
